Fundamental Doctrine

The basic and fundamental doctrine of Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies shall be the Scriptural standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the Name of Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. (See John 3:1-8 and Acts 2:36-40)

We shall endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into the unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body (Ephesians 4:12-16).

About the Scriptures

The Scriptures are the infallible Word of Aluah (God) and the authority for salvation and righteous living through Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ). Please see:2 Timothy 3:15-17.

About Yahuah (God)

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father in Creation, in His Son Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit within the believer.  Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) is fully Yahuah (God) manifested in the flesh. He is fully Yahuah (God) in Body and in Spirit. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16.)

About Sin and Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes only by grace (unmerited favour) through faith/trust based on the atoning sacrifice of Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ). (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)

About the Gospel

The saving gospel is the good news that Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance [death to sin], water baptism in the Name of Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) [burial], and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit [resurrection]. (See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)

About individual Living

As individuals we are to love Yahuah (God) and others. We should live a set apart life inwardly and outwardly, and worship Yahuah (God) joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are still for today. (See Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.)

The Apostles Doctrine (Teaching)

Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies believe that Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) sent forth His Apostles with the Gospel Message that saves both Israelite and Non Israelite from their sins Acts 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) was sent for the lost sheep of the House of Israel
(All 12 Tribes) and also sent His disciples out for the lost sheep of the House of Israel (All 12 Tribes) please see: Matthew 10:6 and 15:24. However John 1:11-13 tells us that the lost sheep of the house of Israel (All 12 Tribes) rejected and did not receive Him:

John 1:11-13,11 He came to His own (All 12 Tribes), and those who were His own (All 12 Tribes) did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of Aluah (God), even to those who believe in His Name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of Aluah (God).

Galatians 3:29 And if you belong to Mashyach (Christ), then you are indeed true descendants of Abraham, and are heirs in fulfillment of the promise.

Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies believe that the only people that are Abraham's seed today are those who have accepted Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) and have been baptized into His Name.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashyach (Christ) have put on Mashyach (Christ).

Please see:
The Apostles' Doctrine for a more in depth understanding.

About the Future

Yahusha Ha Mashyach (Jesus Christ) is coming again to regather His people who are those who have accepted and received Him joyfully. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death.(See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)

About Us

The Messianic Movement is increasingly difficult to define. For the most part it is made up of groups and individuals that have discovered the pagan origins of many modern Christian traditions. In the wake of this, Messianic's have distanced themselves from "Christian Traditions" and immersed themselves in all things "Jewish". Therefore Messianic Christians will find themselves right at home with many of the biblical practices of Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies.

Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies have left "Pagan Christian Traditions" without adopting "Rabbinic Tradition". Many non-scriptural Rabbinic Traditions added during the Babylonian exile are common in most Messianic groups.

There are often non-biblical Rabbinic candle lighting ceremonies and other such traditions. Added Rabbinic practices can range from simple articles of clothing such as the Rabbinic kippah (scull cap). The Tallit (Jewish Prayer Shawl), Tzitzit aka Tassels and also to the actual adoration of the Hebrew language as the favoured pronunciation of certain biblical words or names.

Often extra-biblical Rabbinic literature is introduced. Rabbinic traditions were often bones of contention between Yahusha (Jesus) and the religious establishment of the time. Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies are careful to avoid leaving one set of traditions merely to adopt another.

Many are finding their way out of pagan Christian tradition through the efforts of Messianic and Hebrew Roots fellowships. This journey is creating a desire for an Authentic, First Century, Apostolic Experience. We are seeing more and more of these students finding that experience here.

Below are the basic beliefs of Seed of Abraham Apostolic Assemblies.
